Experience management solutions leader Integrated Research Ltd, IR, has launched its next-generation IR Prognosis UC Assessor. The global provider’s automated unified communications (UC) network assessment solution will be a cloud-based service.
The new Prognosis UC Assessor is recommended for Skype Operations Framework and is certified by Microsoft, thereby supporting Microsoft Teams and Microsoft Skype. This cloud-based development is especially helpful to corporate employees, of which one-fifth use Office 365 cloud service in their work.
The Prognosis UC Assessor provides an improved user experience with communications solutions offered via Microsoft Skype for Business and Microsoft Teams. These user experiences include video, voice, and virtual meeting capabilities.
The number of virtual events and meetings are expected to increase up to 2.4% according to MPI’s Meetings Outlook Summer 2017 report. Virtual meeting growth may now even increase what with the assessor’s abilities to identify and remedy problems in the network and to improve performance abilities in real-time.
“In the past, network assessments were a headache because set up was challenging and time-consuming,” said James Banach to Business Wire. Banach works as the Practice Development Lead at Microsoft’s leading partner, New Signature.
“IR Prognosis UC Assessor streamlines the assessment process, providing insights that make deployment or migration fast and easy,” Banach said.
According to CSO, the new assessor provides an improved network performance by accomplishing management remotely and reducing the amount of time for an assessment setup. Management can be performed via an online dashboard by a single user. What’s more is the new technology makes it so internal networks can be tested between business locations by a single user as well.
Networking management can now be done in a matter of minutes from a variety of locations, making customers capable of greater control over their networking processes and capabilities via the cloud.
“Organizations are investing in cloud-based UC solutions from companies like Microsoft because of their ability to support digital transformation within a business,” said IR CEO John Merakovsky. “With addition of support for Microsoft Teams, organizations can ensure smooth migration or deployment.”
The IR Prognosis UC Assessor was exhibited at Microsoft Ignite in Orlando, Florida at the Orange County Convention Center between September 25-28.
